The real concern is finding the balance. Turkey objected to its civilians being killed. Kaiser Bill had a similar problem with Americans. So the question becomes, "what is the tipping point?" A diplomatic solution would be for Israel to talk Egypt into spiting Israel by turning Rafah into a real (goods & people) international crossing. It would take real diplomacy and sleight of hand.
