    The claim that the Greek coast guard was apologetic to the activists is pure propaganda. They were more poker faced if anything. As for the support of the locals in Crete? Greatly exaggerated! TV showed 10 people tops cheering on. The overwhelming majority of the Greek public could care less! Not their problem. Even when people leave pro-flotilla comments in the newspapers it's more along the lines of "let Israel deal with them", but they even get thumbs down. The Greek public is more concerned with the cuts in salaries and pensions than anything else. Oh and how do you substantiate claims that Israel somehow bribed the Greek government? Greece is simply trying to prevent an international incident originating from its ports, no more, no less. Probably saved those fools' lives since some of those boats would have sunk on their own.
