I can claim my ancesteral Christianity has started in the early 1st century, when my Jewish ancestors followed the Christ. What I use as a "Messiah" title is a "figure of speach", something called rehtoric in English literature. You can't understand the real Bible rhetoric like we do, because we live the same culture of the original Christ. When "a Camel passes from a needles eye", that is rhetoric, no Camel can pass from a needle eye, but the very very big creature passes from a very very tiny passage is what is meant by that verse, not the literal meaning. We in the Middle East try to exaggerate events to make our message clear, so hope you can undertand our background, which is similar to your Lord's background.
