articles such as this always make we want to express a thing or two... 1. how often do we hear adults say their father spent too much time raising them. 2. Children are born with the right to have equal time with both parents. 3, It is simply a 'fact' that many moms are NOT 'better' at child rearing than fathers. 4. I know lots of fathers who are primary caregivers to young children and the children are thriving. 5. As a single Dad, co-parenting, and also being the primary caregiver during the weekdays, is simply way cool. 6. My feeling is that court procedures biased toward either parent simply harms the well being and development of children. 7. As for where change needs to occur: The are simply no male lawyers, guardians or judges that really have any experience being a equal co=parent raising young children so the folks in the back room making legal decision are for the most part still playing by old rules and traditions.
