Hi , I am really impressed to see such a good article about fatherhood, especially the extract below: ...."In extreme cases, when the connection is severed abruptly, a child is liable to experience such hunger in acute manifestations: anxiety attacks, nightmares, rage and emotional outbursts. The absence of a father can produce even more fateful consequences. Sociologist David Popenoe write in his “Life Without Father” that youngsters who experienced the loss or absence of a father were twice as likely to drop out of school; ‏(among girls‏) were 2.5 times as likely to become mothers before the age of 20; and 1.4 times likelier to be unemployed. They were also likelier to display aggressive behavior, suffer from chronic loneliness and problems related to trust, and even to commit suicide"
