If this was your homily at the Christmas mass, I wish I had been there to hear it. You say: "God is with us, reminding us that the commandment of love, which was given to us by Jesus, born in Bethlehem, still remains valid for the difficult times in which we are living today: our love for one another and for every man and woman. This love consists in seeing the image of God in every human being, of every religion and nationality." In it I also hear: "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" Our Church has many years of sins. Our hopes are that the world learn from them. Instead, they say "You sinned" , yet follow the path of our demise. The peace of our Lord be with you, Father. Merry Christmas.
