Plain and simple: the Fatah memo is right about Obama, who's quickly proving to be pretty useless on the Mideast, and Abbas' demands for a freeze and a clear, final status issues agenda for any talks is perfectly resonable. At a time when the IDF rules supreme in the region, anti-missle technology will negate anything Iran develops, the Arab world is wanting at least a covert alliance w/ Israel and the Israeli economy is better off than the U.S'., Lieberman says it's not a good time for peacemaking! This is simply to buy time for more settlement activity. How tragic to have to ask: where is the Israeli partner for peace these days? Not in the current government!
