    It appears that Goldstein worries about alienating the left-wing, anti-Christian, & anti-semitic left in America. If the price of such appeasement is calling a Falwell a bigot - that's a small price to pay... Like many Americans, Jews and others, I never bought into Falwell's theology. But that's exactly the point: The conservative Christian movement he lead was more interested in content than acceptance. These are the same 'bigots' who selflessly poured millions into anti-Christian Indonesia in the wake of 'the' tsunami, who support shelters and charities in the US and around the world - because that's what they believe is the right thing to do. We, as Jews, can do much worse than alligning ourselves with such a decent, altruistic movement, such as that headed by Jerry Falwell. Zeechrono leevracha.
