There is no refugee camp in Gondar. There is only a service center providing very limited services. Thousands of families are forced to rent out tiny rooms in which they crowd 5-10 people each in the poorest areas of the city. They become the bottom feeders in a city of poverty which cannot be imagined in Israel, renting themselves out as day laborers whenever possible. The government decision is shameful. It's inconceivable the government would treat European or American potential olim this way.
