Ezreal, you have a good point: My eggegeration of the Israeli public opinion on Palestinians was wrong and I apologize for this: it was not correct and you were right to say it was stupid of me to write such nonsense. Now, when you give your assesment, you do exactly the same as I describe before: you cannot accept the positive, humanitarian remark of someone who happens to have an Arab name an who, like milions of other Arabs, Europeans, Americans and like many hundreds of thousands of Israelis, believes that Sharon in his lifetime committed serious crimes and should be tried in a court of law for those crimes, like in any self respecting democracy should be the case. Just to make it as simple as I can: He expresses his care for the health of someone he thinks is a criminal. Nothing more, nothing less. A simple gesture that makes people like me believe their is a peace in the future possible in the middle east. Now many (pro)Israelis thought Arafat was a criminal, just like many Arabs believe Sharon is a criminal. Still I havened seen any sign of support for a deadly sick human being, the way I see Palestinian individuals express their humanistic support for the health of Sharon. Your negative and out of context reaction to my words make me start doubting again if their will be peace possible in the middle east.
