I welcome Uzi Benziman's rational reasoning. The Lebanese people, including Hizballah, have shown that they are willing to live in peace with Israel as was the case for the past 6 years since withdrawal. I agree there have been some squirmishes on the border, but that's all there was and it was to keep a negotiating hand for Shebaa farms and the lebanese prisoners. Hizballah has always had their thousands of Katyushas but never used them in any meaningful way and only as retaliation or as part of the squirmishes. Today they are only using them in defense of Lebanon, which at this point I and most Lebanese support given the horrific destruction we have endured. I extend my hand to Israel and Israelis to make peace once and for all between our countries and countrymen, who, outside of the Middle East, have traditionally partnered together and befriended each other due to our similar cultures. Let's release prisoners on both sides, return the Shebaa farms and stop the violence.
