Angry journalists, who initially boycotted the session, describe subcommittee's claims to be part of a 'witch hunt,' and slam Israel's 'authoritarian' efforts to clamp down on the media.14:27 09.02.16 | 2 comments
"...landlords who subdivided apartments illegally and collected double and multiple rents by renting subdivided, tiny apartments to Sudanese [migrants] rather than to just one family." As one involved in the welfare of some of these refugees fleeing the horrors of Eritrea and Darfur, this practice by these Jewish slum lords is reprehensible, racist and runs contrary to every tenet of Judaism whict teaches compassions towards the stranger in our land. That certain rabbis ignore this ievil and even compound it by dictating and "blessing" even greater discrimination and suffering towards these homeless and unwanted wanderers is a horrifically sad testamony to how much these souless hypocrits have forgotten and dismissed the tragedy of our own people throughout the ages. A humane solution to their relocation must be found BUT not like this.
