i hope it's true he's well & in relatively good shape & i'm happy for his family - this must've meant a real lot to them. hopefully this heartwrenching story will soon come to an end & shalit will be back home. to all those still trying to make shalit's case appear equal to the ordeal of numerous pal. prisoners in israel: there's no comparison. shalit wasn't guilty of anything & may not ever have set his foot in gaza. he was snatched & then made into this case of emotional blackmail of a whole nation, not being granted any of the "normal" privileges of a prisoner. if ever there had been any humanitarian concern behind the motivation of hamas, they'd simply asked for a thousand /several thousands of innocent /"innocent" pal. prisoners in return for shalit, something israel whould've agreed to without blinking an eye. instead their motivation was something entirely different, getting their murderers out & score politically as well as humiliate israel as much as possible.
