If Bibi handles it correctly, the failure of the talks over this issue will be a big plus. I say this because very few people in the world understand what the Palestinians are holding out for, which is the end of Israel as a Jewish state. In fact, many people posting here parrot that same line, that "Israel doesn't want peace". Israel doesn't want the peace where the Jews are all murdered or evicted. When the dust settles and the Palestinians walk away from the talks, Bibi should repeat, over and over, louder and louder, that the freeze will be reimplemented immediately and permanently, as soon as the PA declares Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state. That's of course non-negotiable from the Israeli side, so why negotiate it? If the freeze is Abbas' pre-condition, then the right to exist should be Bibi's.
