President G.W.Bush had a choice: 1) Start profound electrification of the transport (electric cars, railways, etc.) or 2) Start a war for oil (Iraq). The result of the 2nd choice has been a disaster: instead of cheap oil now there are over 4000 dead American soldiers, over 100000 dead Iraqis, millions of refugees and (the worst): Iran gradually grabbing Iraq. (Or, to be more precise, the remnants of the latter.) The war is far from over yet.
