I am jewish...and had a similar experience when making aliyah. all of my luggage was unpacked in front of me while i was interrogated about all things of my life, it was thorough and equally humiliating. i proceeded to the gate only to be then physically searched by someone...So if it can happen to a jew immigrating to israel, it can happen to anyone i think. I have also had somewhat contentious conversations with personnel at natbug when returning to israel on one occasion a couple years after my aliyah,After going through passport control and collecting my baggage i was pulled aside and held for a half hour (after a fifteen hour flight) as two guards took my passports and id card and presumably went to check all of my information with the interior ministry. i am a jewish israeli citizen....although being blond and blue eyed i might not be jewish enough looking for them, who knows. from my experience and from what i have seen though, it happens to everyone.

Why the Jewish establishment won’t condemn the occupation

Unless more U.S. Jews who oppose the occupation become members of established Jewish organizations and donate money, the establishment is unlikely to heed calls of those who want it to condemn the occupation.
