Netanyahu is encouraged by the fact that some of his critics are starting to cast doubt on the deal, and even to echo his arguments against it.17:39 30.07.15 | 2 comments
The occupation has little do with security and almost everything to do with achieving the goals of extreme ideologues. It perpetuates a just causus belli for the Palestinians and the Arab people, leaves Israel without international borders to defend and contributes to Israel losing much needed allies in the international arena. Its security needs have been addressed in the blueprints that have been produced to try and end the conflict by having a demilitarised Palestinian state and early warning systems for Israel in the Jordan valley. In short, the occupation makes Israel more not less secure.
