If Israel is a democracy, political objectives of others need not be disowned unless racist or the like. Communal consensus is the ultimate goal, not the imposition of a solution by a minority faction in Israeli politics. The truth is, that the Likud is in power for a reason. The Likud reflects the prevailing sentiment of the Israeli electorate. The Israeli Left would have those sentiments silenced so that they could impose their solution. Not very democratic, is it?
