This village is in the Golan, capture from Syria in 67. Lebanon probably wouldn't annex it because that would anger Syria. More importantly, The villagers do not consider themselves Lebanese and don't want any part going over to Lebanon. They were Syrians. To make things even more complicated, this particular village is the only one in the Golan that accepted Israeli citizenship and implicitly accepts Israeli sovereignty in the Golan.
