As long as the only thing we Europeans can offer the world is our 'culture' - and welfare - then we will struggle to improve the rates of positive assimilation. It is time we began to use terms like 'opportunity,' 'hope' and 'self determination'...until we do, the disenfranchised and alienated (who are by no means all) within the second, third and fourth generation will continue to radicalise and resort to violence and racism - of which anti-Semitism is unfortunately almost a default. It is important to add though that this problem is pan-European and I suspect as much of an issue in Israel as elsewhere (although there of course it is subjugated to the bigger challenge brought about by two competing cultures). It is an intolerable disgrace that such intimidation and persecution of Swedish citizens of any persuasion should be allowed. The problem is that there is no easy short term solution.
