Perhaps in your hazy world the ancient Jews have been lost in antiquity and assimilated over the millennia like other ancient cultures and have no significance anymore, that the sound of the Hebrew tongue and the Songs of Zion are but a distant memory dissipated by the carving, worldly winds, that the ancient Israelites were a failed experiment to be forgotten and the once famous City of Jerusalem is now only a disintegrating archaeological ruin barely discernible to the naked eye and not worthy of mention in any modern press. For doubters like you, one can now hear in perfect Hebrew from the lips of a person in the teeming bus center in Jerusalem, "Ani rotzeh liqnot cartis le Tel Aviv" (I want to buy a ticket to Tel Aviv.), the dream of Eliezar Ben Yehuda come true. For doubters like you, one can now see and hear a spontaneous outburst of song and dance at the Kotel plaza, words of thanksgiving and hope from the ancient songs of Zion that once longingly yearned to be sung in Jerusalem. Perhaps in your world there exists a map at Fatah and Hamas headquarters that lovingly shows a Jewish State of Israel living in peace and prosperity besides a Palestinian one. I haven't found it though, perhaps you can point out its location to me.
