"As far as East Jerusalem, the Supreme Court is obligated to follow Israeli law," Noooooo, it isn't. The Supreme Court has never actually ruled on wether the Israeli govt's declaration that Israeli law applied to East Jerusalem post-1967 is, itself, a legal act. It won't touch that issue either, because it surely knows the answer (it is illegal). So it is not true to say that the court is "obligated" but that the court is "complicit" in the illegal act of an occupying power applying its own laws to occupied territory.
