It is not racial profiling at Ben Gurion, it's more psychological, based on questions and responses to the questions, and body language. If I tell a security guard that I am Orthodox Jew, but do not know the parashah for the week, I am presumed to be a liar and subject to more detailed questions. Actually, the lines at Ben Gurion move more quickly than those in the US, because the questioning obviates the need for going through your luggage.
