Erdogan is a good Muslim, strong in his beliefs. But he is also the guy that almost leased thousands of acres of land to Israelis in Southern Turkey. This was stopped due to public outcry. Israel doesn't seem to have a habit of leaving any piece of land it grabs, so we do not want Israeli citizens buying land in Turkey. Israel should recognize that the center of world power is shifting eastwards. In this new world China, Russia and Turkey will play major roles. Turkey is expected to focus on the Middle East while Russia will keep its monopoly power over natural gas. In this regard Russia and Turkey will together keep China out of Central Asia and the Middle East. Of course the US is already handling the military part of this deal. The next question is where will Iran position itself? I believe Iran will soon cut a deal with the US and Russia. Where does Israel fit into the equation if the US and Russia are now allies? Think about it. Israel has to make peace with Muslims.
