A missile costs between 10,000 to 50,000. A rocket costs between $500 to $2,000(those with more explosives and the standard 1,020 metallic bullets). The system is able to refrain from firing at rockets that fall on open ground thus ignoring a huge chunk of them. And the last piece, the economic save from the damage of buildings and and the deaths of innocent civilians. The bottom line: ~The successful interception of a rocket that would otherwise hit a building and/or take lives is far cheaper than the economic loss of casualties and the construction's repairs. People seem to ignore this fact. This system will save money for Israel and make our enemies' greatest terror weapon(which they invested a huge amount of money) a lot more useless.
