    The poverty of your thinking is astounding…. Even in the modern period of human history, there have been countless wars, invasions, massacres and subjugation of peoples. One of those was WWII with perhaps as many as 50 million deaths. And yet you go on to say, that the Naqba is one of the saddest events to have occurred in modern history. Do you know how many refugees there were after WWII? Millions…Do you know how many are still refugees? None. Why? Because they were absorbed into their host countries and assimilated into their societies. Why was there a refugee crisis in 1948? Because the Arab states (and the Palestinians) could not countenance a Jewish state on even the tiniest sliver of the region. So they attacked en masse the fledgling Jewish state – and helped create the 600-800,000 refugees (which you label one of the saddest events in modern history). Why are they still refugees?
