I've read responses of many Haaretz articles, and I've just got fed up with the high criticism of most of the readers. I live in Israel and I do make part of the reality of this country. In my point of view, this article represents better than any other the complex reality of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Just a nuts can still believe that Israel can hold the territories forever at any price. The palestinians are human beings just like us and they also deserve a sovereign country anywhere they are a majority. We both, israelis and palestinian, pay a very heavy price for this conflict and there's NO solution BUT the 2 states solution. No matter how many new settlements we build, sooner or later, We'll have to hand them back to the palestinians, just like we did in Gaza. Maybe it's no nice to accept it, but that's the ONLY alternative we have. The sooner we start facing the problem the better!
