If you, or your father, mother, uncle, or whatever, didn't put bombs in the bags there's nothing to fear. On the other hand, if the parents are terrorists, and bags in the house are filled with explosives, the consequences are parent's responsibility. To ask someone to open his own bags is not "human shield". "Human shield" should refer to using someone to protect one-selves, from a third party shooting - which is not the case here. Human shield is a demagogic and wrong terminology, when referring to using someone to protect one-selves from his own explosives. Just go to an airport and try to say you won't open your suitcases because there are explosives inside!
