This (clearly Israeli) assassination squad has done a disservie to the State of Israel. Nothing will change now that Mabhouh is dead, he's just one in an million. Deterrence has lost all of its teeth. Quite the contrary: Hatred and opposition will rise once more, one more reason for the wavering to choose violence against Israel. Forget about the short term "solutions"; either Israel makes clear that there is a quid pro quo, in this case land for peace or you will brick yourself in... a high price. Are those acres of land really worth the fear, rage and hatred? I was in Israel in 94/95 for almost a year, I've seen hope and a very, very slow "change". In the years following hope has been utterly annilihated. I've seen an old Palestinian with a headshot and heard the explosion of a bomb on a bus in West Jerusalem. Are those few acres of land really worth it? It's so disgusting and sad to see people put the case for retaliation and deterrence. Wake up, theres no hope in violence.
