To the editor, I didn't understand the author's point of view until I reviewed his background as one of the negotiators of the Oslo Accords. This would immediately invalidate any suggestion the gentleman may make as the Accords are one of the most naive in the history of mankind. Those forces that Mr. Levy endorses are those most likely to abandon Israel in an emergency. I can't understand how any self respecting editor would post such drivel except to fill an empty page. If you need an essay that badly, I volunteer.
