Good article. A catch for Israel is that with the internet, a lot of people internationally, including in the US, have been able to, and bothered to, understand enough of the history and geography related to the only solution that should be acceptable to the Palestinians. That the US Congress has yet again prostituted itself in defiance of these understandings is no surprise. Am not sure Israel can hold on to the status quo, as Netanyahu clearly wishes to, with only the US Congress in his pocket. Israel will probably wish to keep selling things to Europe and Asia; while the US public may tire of their representatives' paid view of the issue. As an aside, Netanyahu is getting priase for "great oratory". The audience is paid a fortune for the standing ovations, even if they give it back a hundred fold using US taxes. And the rest of us automatically gag on every word.
