Eli Wiesel got the Nobel Peace Prize 1986"for his exceptional efforts and fights against supression and dehumilation of mankind of all races". When Wiesel was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1986, the Norwegian Nobel Committee called him a "messenger to mankind," noting that through his struggle to come to terms with "his own personal experience of total humiliation and of the utter contempt for humanity shown in Hitler's death camps," as well as his "practical work in the cause of peace," Wiesel had delivered a powerful message "of peace, atonement and human dignity" to humanity." I am just aking myself, why this "human thinking" did not apply for the massacre of Palestinian kids and women in Gaza, last year? We have now 2 examples how the Norwegian NObel Prize Committee was ways away from reality. One with Eli Weasel 24 years ago, and another with Barack Obama, just one month back. Nobel himself would be chocked, if he knew who got his Peace Prize already!
