As Israel becomes more right winged, especially in the political arena, what democratic remain are being done away with . All of the July - October 2011 social protests have gone for naught and virtually nothing was accomplished from them. The so-called opposition to the right-winged coalition are fragmented and divided with each party "leader" wanting to be on top and not willing to join forces with the other parties. What will result will be a Likud led extremist majority who will cater to the whims of the settlement blocs and the religious extremists who will try to take Israel back to the times when nothing was open on Shabbat. Interesting enough, however, these were the days when the Labor Party led coalition ruled. .
