Ex-President Carter, you should really sit down in Gaza City, open up and read the Hamas Charter of Death & Destruction of Israel, and then comment to us on how "eager Hamas is to proceed" with the operational details contained within. Carter has never dared to attempt answering why when the Palestinians had all the pre-Six Day War lands they whine for now they were not satisfied and lusted for everything back then. The only reason they're now "satisfied" with the earlier situation and land area is because they kept losing every time they initiated hostilities against the Jewish State since the UN partition proposal and they now have less and less of a viable land area to create a State on. Carter also fails to fathom that giving Palestinians East Jerusalem for their capital also implies later caving in to their desire for full jurisdiction over the Temple Mount which the two Islamic edifices currently crown and all the repurcussions that entails. Sorry, the Palestinians lost a lot of their "rights" when they instigated a protracted war against Israel and their militant feelings haven't subsided yet to the point that they collectively want to make genuine peace with Israel. The little "fat" that Israel trimmed from her dearly acquired strategic depth in defensive wars in the exchange of land for peace with Egypt now consists of mainly vital, life-supporting meat, sinews, and arteries that the Jewish State will be hard-pressed to cut into, especially with all the charlatan foreign doctors speaking English, Arabic, & Farsi and rushing in to offer their disingenuous services.
