Its seems to be allmost every other day now that you read about some kind of problem with ELAL Its either mechanical failures or emergancy landings. There needs to be a serious investigation here from the most lowly mechanic to the directors when your putting hundreds of lives on the line everytime these planes fly there is no room for error. Most of these problems started after Natanyahu partialy privatised the airline so it looks like there is a strong possibility that this is about cost cutting now they have to show a profit. There are plenty of foreign airlines out there now that fly to Israel and Israir is looking to go international so unless ELAL get things right they could find themselves in a position where nobody trusts them anymore so they fly with other carriers and ELAL goes out of business .. its a private company now and has to learn to compete and earn passenger trust and loyalty.
