    It seems Mr. Abbas has inherited the legacy of the "GREAT ORATOR" Yasser Arafat. He is not the dynamo of the Palestinians, professing peace with his right hand while ordering arms on the Karine B with his left hand. He welcomed Western intervention and help because he laughingly knew that half the money went to his Swiss bank account and his cronies, 25% went to buy weapons, and the rest went to the corrupt administration. Had he acted like a true leader and sought peace, reigned in the gaggle of thugs and terror groups and disarmed them, things would be different now. Hamas would not have emerged as powerful as it is now. Mao emerged in China because Chiang Kai Shek oppressed the poor, they took up pitchforks and marched with Mao. Palestinians need to select someone that will bring them peace, not more killing and more war. Hamas may provide for their daily needs with the leftover change from purchasing missiles and weapons, but their true happiness will come from peace and nothing el
