The need to preempt Iran and export gas to Egypt was the reason the government gave to push through its controversial plan for Israel's natural gas. Now, this reason may no longer exist.03:48 31.08.15 | 1 comments
If one takes ancient history or the Torah, as basis, then all of Israel belongs to us. This doesn't mean that we are forbidden to give part of it to Palestinians to build their state, as they de-facto live here in any case. But morally we are within our rights. If one takes the UN as basis, then the only legal border is the 1947 separation line. Any extension beyond it should be considered as occupied territories. Apparently, Palestinians are not willing to accept any Jewish presence outside the 47' line, and in fact they have made quite clear that even that 47' line was not acceptable when they attacked us back then.
