It would take much more than an attack on any of their borders to destroy them. Iraq and Afghanistan too. Regimes are fragile but most countries are sturdy regardless of their borders. Israel is different because it is a country built on premises that many people find suspicious. The longer Israel delays a diplomatic solution the weaker it will be as a country, even if it builds a stone wall around all it's borders.
