The explosive dilemma of 'collaboration' with the Nazis in order to save German Jews split the Zionist movement in the 1930s.00:01 01.05.16 | 0 comments
Four years ago there began a suddenly large influx of illegal's from the Sudan and Darfur crossing into Israel. Israel complained directly to the American congress that Egypt was doing a poor job of border security. The congress immediately chopped fifty million off Egypt's allowance for that year. Egypt requested that Israel allow them to beef up the border guards to deal with the problem. Israel declined permission. This is when Egypt began a "shoot to kill" policy regarding border runners. Israelis were happy with their show of power over their Egyptian stooges as they saw the Egyptians doing their dirty work for them. No extra trooops were needed and the Israelis even had the chutzpa to criticize Egypt for killing so many border runners. Flash forward to today. Now Israelis are complaining that Egypt is dpoing a poor job of security in the Sinai and the results are not merely illegal border crossers, but are armed militants. Now all of a sudden Israel directs the beefing up of Egyptian border security. Israel is always happy to place the burden upon others as long as it is understood by all that Israel's needs come first.
