To be fair, the exact words used, "ridiculing President Mohammed Morsi...." should have been included in the article, so that readers could form their own opinion. (What were they?) Moreover, it could have been mentioned that reportedly, President Morsi disassociated himself from the complaints. Also, the article could have analysed what makes for successful satire in the West - something I've never done but maybe it's the art of sticking to acceptable middle ground between blatant insult and humour, and perhaps hints at socio-political options.
