Everyone remembers the slogan... ‘the revolution will not be televised’. In Egypt a revolution isn’t only televised ... it’s ‘Tweeted and Facebooked’ on the universal cloud of the internet. Egypt has always been the heart and soul of the Arab world. Their civilization is older then Rome or Persia. And Egyptian antiquity is found in every museum across the planet. It’s remarkable to see how peaceful and civilized the demonstrations in Cairo have been. My only fear is that Mubarak, Suleiman and the Army generals of Egypt, will resort to violence in suppressing this democratic movement. I understand the need for securing the streets. But this is a new dawn of Arab democracy... and the soul of Egypt is at stake.
