To fix the system one has to put money into it. The government pays teachers very poorly, and teacher can not teach 40 students in one class effectively. We need better paid teachers, and more of them with smaller classes. Another problem is that a student sees a new teacher every 40-45 minutes. My second grade child has more teachers in one year than I had in a semester in University. The teacher that seems scariest is the one she works hard for, so she won't get yelled at. She has a different schedule every day, and has to remember to bring the right book/workbook/homework for every class. She is seven years old. She has more stress than my brother in college. Let's fix the problem! Find the most successful educational model in the world and adapt it to our country's education system. Then, invest in the best teachers and teaching materials. Our future is at st?ke.
