"As prime minister, Bibi has ideal conditions - the best there have ever been, including public opinion - to set Israel's permanent borders, as well as the support of most of the public for forcible action against the extremist settlers who would lift the banner of rebellion." - Yoel Marcus Netanyahu's vision of Isael's permanent borders is very clear. His vision of Israel's extent is in total agreement with the Settlers which he both protects and funds. Nor is the Israel which gave him the power to rule as wishes - a nation which CLEARLY endorses his wishes - the least bit inclined to oppose that Greater Israel he intends. Bibi is wise that if he appears too eager for peace he will again be deposed. If he were to actually pursue it, then he would join Rabin in the grave.
