Netanyahu should stop building in E. Jerusalem and the West Bank altogether because it is such a flash point. There is still room in israel to build elsewhere if necessary. He and the rest of Israel have to bite the bullet and stop building FOR NOW, and go through the peace negotiation charade.. I emphasize FOR NOW. It is not likely that any agreement can be reached, because Israel will not and should not give up E. Jerusalem, but at least Israel keeps the US happy and the US should be kept happy because it is the only true friend Israel has; even if sometimes it does not seem so. If Israeli politicians do not understand that they understand nothing. They should also understand that peace is critically important, because then both economies will advance. However, the US has to learn again, and Obama is a good student, that the Arabs really do not want peace. This exercise will help to imprint that understanding and for a few years the US will stop bothering Israel to make a peace that is really not possible for the foreseeable future
