Clinton, Obama and Abbas are going to have to ditch their "no Jewish apartments" precondition and return to unconditional talks. The pressure should be on Abbas not to miss this opportunity, rather than to try to bring him more something-for-nothing "gestures" which he never repays. Congress and the American people understand this, which is why Hussein gets slapped down by 90+ percent of our Congress every time he tries to push Bibi around on this issue. It is what Obama himself calls his "early missteps" that have cost him all credibility with Israel. He has visited more than a dozen Arab and Muslim countries, some several times, but refuses to visit Israel. That in itself is a reason not to trust him.
