We all owe a sense of gratitude to people like Dutch and his cohorts, the President of Iran and Hamas, for crystalizing the issue for us. It is simple: Do you or do you not believe Israel has a right to exist in land with defensible borders? If you don't, Israel is always wrong any act of violence no matter how hienous (targeting children in their schools)is justified since even Tel Aviv is "occupied" territory. If you believe Israel does have a right to exist, then you agree that Israel can defend itself and has been doing exactly that thing since 1948 fighting war after war of annihilation. And, make no mistake about it, the "occupation" that exists today (only in the West Bank area - Israel giving up Sinai and leaving Gaza - hardly acts of a country not willing to give land for peace)has nothing to do with the hostilities. The wars against Israel began before 1967. So which is it Dutch, does Israel have a right to exist or not? If not, then who cares what you say.
