"but the real problem it seems to me is the Israeli people. They behave like sheep and accept the twisted truth their government officials put out daily." Your post reminds me of the fellow looking for a bunch of keys he dropped in the road. "Where did you drop them?" asks the passer by. "on the other side of the road",comes the reply. "then why are you looking here?" says passer by. "the light is better on this side of the road!" You read the Haaretz hard left criticisms of Israel policy. You follow the Palestinian propaganda sites and accept them as gospel. Israelis have always expressed the full gamut of political views. They have a truly pluralist society. Some accept the governments views. most dont and will vote for the multitude of political alternatives. "they behave like sheep". did you ever hear of Peace Now? Hundreds of thousands of sheep! Did you know of the mass demonstrations post Sabra/Shatila. Yet more sheep. So visible and discernable is Israeli diversity That you don't bother to look on the other side of the street Dutch is down to your myopia and laziness. The Palestinian side. Who never marched en masse against their corrupt and degenerate PA. Who never launched a Palestinian Peace Now! Who are fed a daily diet of PA controlled information and educated only about the perceived injustices done to themselves by the Zionists. Never daring to allow or encourage any free thought amongst their populace. Free thinkers are traitors in the Palestinian vernacular. So without question the typical Palestinian accepts their daily diet of propaganda and thus behave as , well.......... SHEEP! So Dutch. Look a little harder for the causes of the problem and you may even find some worthwhile answers.
