    well, dutch, when you argue like this than also palestinians don't have a legal claim to this part of the region. because they even didn't exist as a tribe in former days but were only called palestinians under british mandate. and under british mandate everybody living there was called palestinian, muslims, jews, christians and others. furthermore, nowadays israel has the right to be there, after all it was established following the majority of a un-decision. (as you know: also the arab palestinians could have agreed to this decision and could have got their state already). and israel has the right to be a jewish state just as other states have the right to follow christian or muslim or other traditions. that's no contradiction to international law and human rights. because israel exists indeed for all its people, including the arabs. a propos: there are even arab parties in the knesset. show me the arab country which allows jewish parties in its government.
