were being targeted by the launchers of rockets and mortars on a daily basis the world was silent. Not a single UN resolution, not one UN "fact finding" commission. Only after Israel reacted to stop these acts of terror and violation of both international law and humanitarian law - and succeeded in doing so - did the UN react. If this is the way the world community choses to deal with terror that threatens liberal democracies like Israel and its civilian population, why should Israel take any additional risks towards accommodating the Arabs of Judea and Samaria? Gaza was a test case how the Palestinain Arabs would deal with a Jew-free territory, one "cleansed" of any Jewish elements. They failed the test. The Israeli public, in light of the Goldstone Affair, does not want and can not be expected to take more risks and have yet another test case in Samaria and Judea. Enought is enough!!!
