Stayed at the Synagogue all day, fasting, praying and praising; Loving one another and raising our voices together. The more Love we lifted to the Heavens, the more Love rained down upon us, it was truly AMAZING. Then we all broke fast together in clebration of the Goodness and Mercy of our God. One indeed becomes someone new after a day like that, a wonderful someone new; connected. I have often heard people comment about how that "great feeling" stays with them for a while, then fades and they go back to their same old ways. Doesn't it stand to reason that if one wants to maintain that "great feeling" that they should continue in the things that brought them that feeling on a daily basis? Not fasting everyday, but we were commanded to "pray without ceasing" for a reason. We should sing praises everyday, even if it's in the car on the way to work. We need to understand, this is for our benefit; God doesn't "need" our praises, WE NEED TO PRAISE! Shabbat Shalom
